Desirae Carrasco

Lab manager & project coordinator


Desirae Carrasco serves as Lab Manager and Project Coordinator for our laboratory. She plans to graduate from Baylor University in 2020 with a B.S. in Biology. Desirae has an interest in nanotoxicology and environmental toxicology, specifically directed towards public health. Desirae is skilled in advanced laboratory techniques, such as cell culture maintenance and physical characterization of particulates. These skills will complement her future studies and research. Specifically, Desirae’s focus is in studying women’s reproductive pathology and the onset of disease due to environmental and societal factors.
