Mohammad Yamin joined the Sayes Group in the Fall of 2022 as a Ph.D. student in Environmental science. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Abu Dhabi University in the United Arab Emirates and his master’s in Environmental Protection from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poland (ranked 451-500 worldwide in biological science – QS Ranking 2022). His thesis provided a comprehensive overview of asbestos contamination of soils, focusing on soil organisms and relevant soil contamination management in Poland. The work also included a basic framework for experimental assessment of the ecological tolerance of selected soil fauna communities against asbestos contamination.
Before joining the Sayes Group, Mohammad worked as a Senior Environmental Engineer at one of the leading waste management companies in Abu Dhabi. In addition, he was a former Environmental Specialist at the Environment Protection and Development Authority of Ras Al Khaimah Government, UAE. He also served as an Asbestos Engineer for Abu Dhabi Waste Management Center.
